About Salad
Avocado salad is a rural Israeli avocado salad, with lemon juice and chopped scallions with salt and black pepper added, was introduced by farmers who planted avocado trees on the coastal plain in the 1920's.Health Benefits :

Ingredients :
2 spring onions
1 large lemon
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
salt and freshly ground black pepper
175 g cooked peeled prawns
4 medium ripe avocados
1 cup of trimmed watercress
drill dressing
1/2 cup of sour cream2 tablespoon creme fraiche (optional)
3 tablespoon finely chopped fresh dill
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Making recipe
- Finely dice spring onions. cut lemon in half. cut one half into thin slices and squeeze juice from other half.
- Whisk oil and vinegar until combined; add salt and pepper to taste. Add spring onions and prawns. marinate while making dressing.
- To make dill dressing, whisk sour cream, 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a bowl until creamy. Add salt and pepper to taste.Stir in dill.
- Cut avocados in half and remove stones. remove flesh, leaving a rim about 5 mm(1/4) wide. Dice flesh finely and mix with 1 tablespoon lemon juice along with little salt.
- Combine avocado, watercress, prawns and spring onions and spoon into avocado shells. Spoon dill dressing on the top. Finally garnish with lemon slices.
